1.

Traditional Upholstery

Traditional or classic upholstery typically refers to methods and materials used before the 1950s. It involves the use of hand-crafted techniques and natural materials such as horsehair, coir, calico and hessian to create a durable, firm and sculptural shape.

2.

Modern Upholstery

This method uses more modern materials such as high-density foam, elastic webbing and staples, offering a less time-consuming and therefore potentially cheaper approach when compared to traditional methods.

3.

Soft Furnishings

Soft furnishings are a simple and practical way to improve the comfort and beauty of your living space. I can create bolster, scatter, and French mattress cushions, as well as Banquette and window seating.

4.

Original Pieces

I also take commissions for original pieces, creating bespoke furniture to suit your home. Ottomans, headboards, stools, and bench seating are just some of the many projects I have worked on.
